Who We Are
The Finishing Club isn’t your usual after-school club or tutoring — we specialise in helping children reach their maximum potential while becoming the fullest expression of who they are.
We help children foster communication skills, social maturity, confidence and resilience so they can thrive by the time Year 7 arrives. Our Flourish Term and Horizon Term provide weekly sessions introducing meaningful concepts many adults only learn later in life.
Our aim is to unlock every child’s potential, building a strong foundation they can carry through every stage of life.

First and foremost, The Finishing Club is founded on Christian values and the idea that every child has a great destiny ahead of them. Their purpose in life is not something that will bring them sorrow or hurt but one that will bring them joy and many blessings. We hope we can help them build life skills to aid them in their journey.

Founder & Lead Visionary
The Finishing Club was founded on the passion for helping children become the fullest expression of who they are, and the need I have experienced and seen in other children- bridging the gap between primary and secondary school. Seeing my own brother enter Year 7, unsure of how to navigate it, caused me to reflect on my own personal experience of the transition to Year 7 and how unequipped I felt. This, accompanied by the stagnation after rigorous prep for 11+, is a gap in a child’s life that doesn’t seem as critical as preparing academically, but will impact their future academic life.
Thriving and excelling in Year 7 doesn’t solely depend on academics; it also depends on a wide range of non-academic competencies overlooked in 11+ preparation, which can significantly impact a child’s secondary school journey.
Today, The Finishing Club continues to grow as a safe, nurturing, forward-thinking environment where children can flourish, excel and step boldly into their future.
